Are you ready for one epic adventure? The Tillamook Burn is the final event in the XTERRA Oregon Trail Running Series and may be one of the best trail courses XTERRA has offered in fifteen years. The entire course is set on private property on Wood Fire Farms, about ten miles outside of Pacific City, and is not for the faint of heart. There are some wide open skid roads for passing (or being passed) and some adventurous single track sections. There are some flat spots and there are some eye-watering hills. Combine that with some rivers, some mud, and some man-made creations and you've got one amazing course. Aide will be provided near the middle of the six mile course, but if you need more, bring it your self!
As for the after party, there will be entertainment and a huge BBQ right on the grounds. Camping is available and is FREE for all participants. If you are camping, there will be one big bonfire to party by, as there are no fires allowed at individual campsites. Swimming and fishing are also available in the two rivers on the property.
