Marathon Guide 2009
The holidays are over, the new year is here and resolutions have been made. Did any of you set the goal of running a marathon in 2009? Would it be your first marathon or a fourth? Either way, marathons take a lot of panning and preparing and it all starts with choosing which race you'll run. Take a look at some of these resources to help you find the perfect one.
- MarathonGuide.com A complete list of marathons in the United States and Canada. You can sort by date, city, or state/province.
- 42k195 An international guide to marathons, including some often hard-to-find races in small towns.
- Alternate Routes Runners World compiled a list of marathons that are similar to some of those big time races (i.e. New York Marathon) that may offer a similar experience.
