First Thursday Urban Adventure Runs Start Up Again!

If First Thursday gallery walks aren't quite your style, come be a part of this alternative "walk" (ok, run). Fit Right NW is hosting it's very own First Thursday Run and Urban Scavenger Hunt at its NW 23rd location. The rules are simple: Receive your first checkpoint location at the start. When you arrive at each checkpoint you will be given a raffle ticket and the location of your next checkpoint. The more tickets you collect the more chances you have of winning prizes at the raffle drawing! Try to hit as many checkpoints as you can, but remember that the raffle drawing starts at 7pm whether you are there or not. Even if you don't end up winning any prizes, there is free food and beer for all, which lets face it, is almost as good as winning that new pair of Brooks...sort of.

  • Sign-in : 5:30 pm / Event Start: 6 pm
  • 1207 NW 23rd Ave.
  • Bring a watch, good navigational skills, and great attitude!

Vancouver Marine Park Run/Walk | March 22 - Vancouver, WA

If you haven't taken advantage of running along the Vancouver waterfront yet, now's your chance! Starting in Marine Park, this beautiful 5 mile course offers many scenic views of the Columbia River. The flat out-and-back route will have you running on quiet paved roads and bike paths with no vehicular traffic, making this an event for all levels of fitness. If you don't want commit to the full 5 miler, don't worry - there is an optional 2.5 mile walk.


The Vancouver Waterfront run is a great event for the family as it's stroller and dog friendly - just make sure to keep your four- legged friend on a leash. After your run, enjoy yummy refreshments during the awards ceremony. If you can, make a day of it and spend the afternoon hanging out in the sun in Marine Park!
