If you haven't taken advantage of running along the Vancouver waterfront yet, now's your chance! Starting in Marine Park, this beautiful 12k course offers many scenic views of the Columbia River. The flat out-and-back route will have you running on quiet paved roads and bike paths, making this an event for all levels of fitness. If you don't want commit to the full 12k, don't worry as there is an optional 2.5 mile walk.
The Vancouver Waterfront run is a great event for the family as it's stroller and dog friendly - just make sure to keep your four- legged friend on a leash. After your run, enjoy yummy refreshments during the awards ceremony. If you can, make a day of it and spend the afternoon hanging out in the sun in Marine Park!
